Gladstone Conservation Council has joined forces with Conservation Volunteers Australia to participate in the Great Cane Toad Bust 2024. Great big thanks to Linda who is helping to pull this together! We're running an event on the Thursday evening, but you can always participate in your own way and add your totals to the database (details below).

Australia’s biggest Cane Toad Bust is back! Join us for The Great Cane Toad Bust 2024, running from January 13th - 21st.
Head out onto your property or into your local area to collect cane toads with your families and friends. Are you involved with a local community group? Organise a social night and collect cane toads together!
This year we’ve got an exciting announcement - for the first time toad tadpoles will be included in the tally! Trapping Cane Toad tadpoles allows you to remove Cane Toads before they grow up to cause damage.
Remember, females can lay up to 35,000 eggs each time they breed, so every Cane Toad counts!
